Break For A Weird Meme

I am taking a minute to catch my breath from my first round in the Pinon Canyon expansion opposition.  I have a bone to pick with some representatives, which you will hear about as this all unravels.

But for now, Beeba tagged me with a weird meme.  "Name 10 weird things about yourself."  Now I had thought that when I did the "100 things"  you guys would have had enough, but, okay.

I asked my wife and my teenage daughters to help me with this.  (I knew better than to ask Janet or Carter.)  Margaret came up with 6 but the girls only came up with 4!  "You're just a pretty normal guy, dad."  "Yeah, you know, you're a, well...you're a dad guy."  The implication, which you cannot hear, is that all dads are weird and I know some of their friend's dads and they are just as normal as me.  I don't know whether to be proud or disappointed.  Anyway, this was kind of hard, especially since things I think are weird may not be weird or may not be weird everywhere or to everyone.  With that caveat out of the way, here goes:

Margaret's List:

1) My eyebrows, or should I say my uni-brow, sticks straight out of my face.
2) I can wiggle my ears.
3) I'm left-handed (which to me does not count, but she insisted it was weird).
4) My toes point out when I walk.
5) I like to shop.
6) I wrap presents well.

Abi and Tabitha's list:

1) I sing in the Shower
2) I yell, "Clear the coast!" when I am getting out of the shower and sneaking into my room.
3) I like German Potato Salad.
4) I have a weird sense of humor.

So now, my own own list would be:

1) I spread butter on saltine crackers and eat them a sleeve at a time.
2) I can spell, "onomatopoeia" without looking it up.
3) I am a perfectionist.
4) I like to use a "mug and brush" when I shave.
5) I read Shakespeare for pleasure.
6) I still have (and still wear) a tie I bought in 1977.
7) I can milk a cow (not weird everywhere).
8) I have an Indian blood brother (not weird everywhere).
9) When nobody is riding with me in the car I sing at the top of my lungs.
10)  I have a strange aversion to insects, they bug me.

So there you have it, kids.  I won't necessarily tag anybody, but I sure would appreciate it if YOU would do it.

Remember, the good book says, "My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned because I just couldn't concentrate."

A tie from 1977? Now THAT really IS weird!

YIPEE! I have been in denial about the saltine/butter thing for most of my life. I am free to eat them openly now! AND I somehow had NO idea beej did that also.

Thank you!!! I don't think you're wierd at all!! Does that make me...uh...un-normal????? teehee!!!

I don't usually do these things either, I just thought this one would be fun!! I visit some blogs just to see what different things are out there. (I see 'me' in some of them...scary!!)

Right-handed, but can wiggle ears.

That's not what makes me weird, tho...

But can you milk a cow left-handed while wearing a tie AND singing at the top of your lungs?

I don't think so. If you can, you are really REALLY weird.

Left handed AND you can wiggle your ears?? That's just weird. My mom and my second child can wiggle their ears. I'm jealous.

Tie from 1977? That's just wrong.

I used to do that saltine and butter thing, but only when nobody was looking.

I love bugs.

"couldn't concentrate" LOL

If I finish my actual work today, maybe I'll do this meme. :)
