7's Meme

Moni at Tuff Toenails went and tagged me with a "meme."  I'm not a big fan of these things, but they can help other people to get to know you a little better and I guess I should be a good sport.  Besides, this way I will have yet another blog entry to post, so, if you don't like posts with memes in them all I can think of to say to you is, "Tuff Toenails."

I think a thing called the "7's meme" ought to only have 7 questions in it, though.  The first 7's one I got tagged with was given to me by the missing Daveman.  I took down the milk cartons on my other two blogs, but that doesn't mean I don't think about him or that I am not his friend or that I don't visit his blog everyday, because I do.  It just seems like it's time to move on and hope for the best and wish him the best.

Anyway, the two questionnaires are fairly similar, the original 10 questions about 7's were:

Name seven:

Things that scare me

Things I like most

Important things in my room (This would be on my desk)

Random facts about me

Things I plan hope to do before I die

Things I can do

Things I can't do

Things I say most

Celeb crushes

People who will have to I hope will do this

The new questions that are different are:

Seven things that attract me to my husband:

Seven Books (or a series of books) I love:

Seven Movies I'd Watch Over and Over Again:

This makes a total of 13 unique questions, which is not even a multiple of 7, so I am changing the list to just 7 questions with 7 items each.  The new list I made up is:

Name 7:

Things that scare me

Things I like most

Things I plan hope to do before I die

Things I can do

Things I can't do

Things I say most

Books I love

I don't want to get too personal, so all I will say to the one question is that the eyes are the most attractive and interesting thing about any person.  Eyes are (dare I say it in a family oriented blog?) sexy.  Eyes talk.

Since I read so many blogs in a day, I would like to see it on everybody's but I do not have a list of people who I am tagging.  Maybe someone could even add their own new questions or original memes that are things that you would like to know.  Okay, on with the show.

7 things that scare me

1)      A bug crawling on me that I didn't expect to be there

2)      Bill collectors

3)      Rich people (well, okay, they annoy me more than anything…)

4)      Funerals

5)      Grapefruit

6)      The government, no matter who's in charge

7)      Unattended children

7 things I like the most

2)      Real, fresh from the vat Wisconsin cheese curds

3)      Beef

4)      Milk straight from the cow

5)      Pizza

6)      Coca-Cola

7)      Mountain Dew

7 things I plan hope to do before I die

1)      See Shakespeare performed in London

2)      Visit Ireland and Germany and learn about my ancestors

3)      Make money writing

4)      ***********************************

5)      Tour the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

6)      Ride in a balloon

7)      Go to Australia

7 things I can do

1)      Read

2)      Write

3)      Wear a cowboy hat

4)      Talk wit' a Shawano accent once, hey.

5)      Talk like a Menom, en so horse.  Chrysler, bubba, you don't know what a 'nom is?

6)      Talk for hours about something I feel strongly about.

7)      Anything I want to learn that someone will take time to teach me.

7 things I can't do

1)      'Rithmetic

2)      Drive a semi

3)      ***********************************

4)      Y'know, really, there is not too much that I can't do if someone will just take the time to teach me.

7 things I say the most

1)      If everyone would just listen to me, we'd all be a lot better off.

2)      They didn't ask me, did they?

3)      Huh?

4)      Was that your mom yelling for me?

5)      Yes, dear.

6)      I love you!

7)      That's nastier than Carter's feet.  (Okay, maybe I would never have occasion to say that because nothing like that could possibly exist, but I might sometimes…Maybe one of Carter's exes…?  Never mind.)

Seven books I love

1)   The King James Bible – God

2)   Have Spacesuit, Will Travel – Robert Heinlein

3)   The Moon is a Harsh Mistress – Robert Heinlein

4)   The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (all 5 books in the trilogy) – Douglas Adams

6)   Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury

7)   North to the Rails – Louis L'Amour

*)   A book I hated but think everyone in the world ought to read is 1984 – George Orwell.

Remember, the good book says, "A Local Area Network in Australia is the LAN down under."

The 'Nom is a nickname for the Menominee Nation Indian Reservation near where I'm from. They have a distinct accent and set of idioms that don't exist anywhere else. Within a 50 mile radius of where I grew up there are 10 reservations.

One hundred percent agreement about our Daveman. Sure miss him, and wish him health and peace. Thought I'd spit out my coffee when I read "the good book says" today! Good one!
